Learning with a Mix of Virtual and Real Worlds

New research indicates that students learn five times better when instruction combines real and virtual worlds. Researchers used a Microsoft Kinect Camera (which measures depth) and a digital gorilla to teach physics to 92 six year olds. Attempts to teach six 92 year olds proved fruitless yet enjoyable to watch.
